On Saturday, 16 May, the Lower Silesian Junior Rapid Chess Championship took place in Wrocław. The competition was played using the Swiss system (7 rounds, 15 minutes per player per game).

Kacper Grela, a player for TOP Bolesławiec, competed in the under-9 category. A total of 63 chess players took part in the competition. Kacper once again confirmed his class by winning the gold medal and the title of Lower Silesian champion.
