Our Reader wrote to us regarding tires in Zebrzydowa Stacyjna (Nowogrodziec gmina):
The sidewalk is covered with tires; it’s impossible to get through, not to mention taking a walk with a baby carriage. The tires are spilling out, and there are so many of them that the concrete fence is simply being pushed out; it’s scary to walk past because it could collapse.
And she emphasized:
Various people come and simply add more tires, just like that, because no one controls it.
We asked the Nowogrodziec local authorities for comment. Stanisław Żółtański, head of the Municipal Department at the Municipal Office in Nowogrodziec:
I would like to inform you that today [April 3 – istotne.pl editorial note] istotne.pl the Nowogrodziec Municipal Police instructed the plot owner regarding the storage of tires and obliged him to secure the area.
