The Jacek Kaczmarski and “Solidarity” Bards Song Review continues the event initiated five years ago, on the 10th anniversary of the death of the Polish poet, bard and composer – Jacek Kaczmarski. It is a recurring event; this year it will be held for the sixth time. The aim of the review is to commemorate, promote and popularize the work of the bards of Solidarity, as well as to promote patriotic and independence-oriented ideas and educate future generations. This year, the jurors are awaiting signature songs of a forgotten generation, enslaved by the political system but believing that things would not always remain this way. The repertoire will include songs by the bards Jacka Kaczmarskiego, Przemysława Gintrowskiego, Jana Pietrzaka, Grzegorza Tomczaka, as well as Tadeusza Sikory and Antoniny Krzysztoń.
