BKS Bolesławiec were the better team throughout Saturday’s match and deservedly claimed all three points. In the 10th minute, Marek Majka found himself in an excellent position, but the visiting goalkeeper managed to save his one-on-one effort. Sebastian Tylutki’s players repeatedly broke into the visitors’ penalty area, and only accuracy was lacking to put the ball in the net. It should have been 1–0 in the 12th minute, but Marek Majka’s first-time shot went over the Victoria Ruszów goal. In the 25th minute, Adrian Puzio was fouled in the penalty area and the referee awarded our team a penalty. Marek Majka stepped up to the ball and confidently converted from 11 metres to put BKS 1–0 ahead.
Three minutes later, the supporters gathered on Spółdzielcza had another reason to celebrate. Damian Puzio surged down the right and drove a powerful low ball into the penalty area. Marek Majka was well positioned there and calmly put the ball into the net, making it 2–0 to BKS. The pattern of play did not change after the second goal. Our team remained dominant, while the visitors struggled to create danger in front of Kacper Różnicki’s goal. The score did not change before the break, and we went into the dressing room leading 2–0.
The second half was not as attractive as the first. The play was marked by inaccuracies and chaos. The determined visitors from Ruszów occasionally pinned us back in our own half, but Kacper Różnicki was always on hand. Our players had several chances to extend the lead, but lacked the finishing touch in front of the opponents’ goal. Fortunately, they controlled the match throughout and there was no late drama. Despite the visitors’ great efforts, they failed to put the ball into our net, and the match ultimately ended in a 2–0 BKS Bolesławiec victory.
Saturday’s victory was extremely important for our team. Let us hope that from this point BKS Bolesławiec will get back on the right track and climb the table. Next week, we face an away match against Prochowiczanka Prochowice.
