A Reader wrote to us about the pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Podgórna and Tyrankiewiczów streets in Bolesławiec:

I live near this intersection. And what I see more than once is really frightening.

They added:

Can anything be done about it? It is not lit at all and is very poorly marked.

As we have established, city officials also believe that installing better lighting at this intersection is justified. However, residents and drivers will have to be patient because, unfortunately, this task was not included in the Bolesławiec Municipality budget for this year. It may be included in next year’s budget.
