On March 9, a ceremony for presenting the Medals for Long Marital Life, awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland, took place at the Wedding Palace in Bolesławiec.
That day, the following couples celebrated 50 years of marriage: Pelagia and Władysław Dziadoszowie, Danuta and Kazimierz Jarząbowie, Kazimiera and Wacław Wawrzkiewiczowie.
The decorations were presented by Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz.
The distinguished anniversary celebrants were accompanied by family and friends. The ceremony was enhanced by a concert performed by students of the Witold Lutosławski State Music School in Bolesławiec.
