As reported by Muzyczne Radio, the second attacker has been arrested. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
Let us recall. The incident took place on February 24, in the evening, in the Market Square in Lwówek Śląski. Two perpetrators attacked a group of four men, punching them in the face, head and other parts of their bodies. One of the victims suffered extensive head injuries as a result of the fall, which proved to be serious.
In addition, another victim, a Ukrainian citizen, had his wallet containing money (PLN 1,500) and documents taken.
On March 5, we reported that one of the perpetrators had already been apprehended. He was charged with participating in a fight in which the victim suffered serious bodily injuries, as well as stealing property and documents. The man confessed.
At the prosecutor’s office’s request, he was temporarily detained. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
Investigators:
The act was committed in the very center of Lwówek Śląski, in flagrant violation of the principles of the legal order, without reason; the perpetrators’ actions were characterized by particular aggression.
The second attacker has also been arrested. On March 8, he was brought to the prosecutor’s office in Lwówek Śląski. He faces up to 8 years behind bars.
