Sunday's match was entertaining, with no shortage of chances to score. Sebastian Tylutki's players started the game better. We found ourselves in the opponents' penalty area several times, but lacked accurate finishing. As time went on, the hosts began to make their presence felt, and towards the end of the first half we came close to conceding. Fortunately for us, the ball struck by the opponent hit the crossbar, and we went into the break goalless.
The pattern of play did not change after the break. There were still interesting situations at both ends and attractive football. In the 55th minute, the hosts took the lead after a well-worked move, and we had to chase the result. In the 75th minute, the referee awarded a penalty to BKS Bolesławiec, which Eryk Kliwak converted. Towards the end, we could have tipped the balance in our favor, but Łukasz Graczyk missed another penalty. The match ultimately ended in a 1:1 draw.
Sunday's friendly was the last match our team played this winter. Next Sunday, Sebastian Tylutki's players will begin their league campaign with an away match against Orkan Szczedrzykowice.
