Therefore, the most widespread form of bird protection during this period is feeding them. The Mrówka mascot – Dawid Chmielowiec and Oliwia Dobiesz from Mrówka Bolesławiec visited all preschools in Bolesławiec. They brought the children a bird feeder and food, and held lessons about birds that spend the winter in our gardens.

The children colored pictures of woodpeckers, bullfinches, great tits and sparrows. The preschoolers knew perfectly well that birds must not be fed bread or food containing salt, because it makes them ill. Instead, they love natural food such as grains, seeds, nuts and, of course, suet, which can be hung in a feeder. During the talk, the preschoolers took part in a quiz. The campaign will conclude with an art competition on the profile FB Mrówka Boiesławiec.
