The incident occurred on Friday evening in a building on Polna Street in Bolesławiec, near Galeria Bolesławiec City Center. Measuring devices indicated the presence of carbon monoxide. The carbon monoxide probably escaped from a leaking chimney. During the operation, firefighters evacuated the building’s residents. One person was taken to hospital.
Two fire service units, two ambulances and the police were at the scene.
