A collision that took place last week in Jelenia Góra was reported by the jelonka.com website:
A 14-year-old from the Jelenia Góra area was brutally beaten by a girl her own age. The attacker lured her victim by deception to an underground passage near Galeria Nowy Rynek in Jelenia Góra, where, in front of around 120 people summoned via the GG messenger, she kicked her in the head, pulled her hair and repeatedly slammed her head against a wall.
Moreover, similar staged fights regularly took place in the aforementioned tunnel. The matter was described on her Facebook profile by Jelenia Góra councillor Beata Wójtowicz. Polsatnews.pl:
“Inciting aggression and hatred towards the weaker. Comments such as ‘come on, hit her, you can do it’. Such a crowd that it is simply shameful! Everyone with a phone is recording this awful ‘spectacle’,” the councillor wrote.
She also stressed that CCTV should be installed at this location as soon as possible, given its proximity to a secondary school, the Municipal Social Welfare Centre and the PKS bus station.
Jelenia Góra police are investigating the matter. Details at jelonka.com.
