On Friday (May 1), BKS Bobrzanie hosted Olimpia Kamienna Góra. The visiting team is the weakest side in the Lower Silesian fourth division. Kamiennogórzanie are bottom of the league table, with 15 points to their name. In the opening minutes of the match, the visitors already proved that they would not surrender the points easily. Dawid Kizyma saved a dangerous shot by Przemysław Powiertowski with his legs.
In the 7th minute, after a corner, Błażej Rajchel took advantage of the confusion in the visitors' penalty area, making it 1:0 to BKS. In the following minutes, the match became boring. Play was concentrated in the middle of the pitch. Bolesławiec tried to play first-time football and had the territorial advantage, but little came of it. In the 24th minute, Powiertowski threatened the BKS goal again. Once more, the BKS goalkeeper intervened well. Just before halftime, the Bolesławiec side wasted two good chances. In the 42nd minute, Sławomir Iskrzak shot into the side netting. A minute later, Mateusz Janczyszyn sent a powerful ball across the face of goal. Unfortunately, none of the Bolesławiec players arrived to finish the move from the right.
From the beginning of the second half, the visitors attacked more boldly. In the 48th minute, after a mistake by Mateusz Janczyszyn, Dawid Kizyma had to save his team from conceding. Michał Golasiński shot at the BKS goal. A minute later, Marcin Traczykowski tested the form of the Bolesławiec goalkeeper. The passive attitude of the Bolesławiec side “backfired” in the 50th minute. Marcin Hadała scored the equalizer.Marcin Hadała. After conceding, BKS sped up its play. In the 56th minute, Adam Klimas hit the post.
However, Bolesławiec supporters had no reason for optimism. The Bolesławiec side's play looked terrible: numerous turnovers, inaccurate passes and wasted chances in front of goal were like banging one's head against a wall. In the 73rd minute, Krzysztof Szymański wasted a one-on-one opportunity, shooting straight into the goalkeeper's hands. Two minutes later, Marek Kumoś took a corner. After a save by the Olimpia goalkeeper, the ball fell to Adam Klimas. The BKS player beat the visiting goalkeeper, but the referee disallowed the goal. Following protests from the visitors and a consultation with the assistant referee, the main referee ruled that it had been offside. In the 83rd minute, Krzysztof Szymański scored the winning goal with a header. The goal came after a corner taken by Tomasz Jasiński. After a poor match, BKS Bobrzanie defeated the bottom team 2:1. In the next round of matches, Bolesławiec will face Ślęza Wrocław away.
