The official handover of the vehicle took place on 29 April during a session of the Commune Council. Those attending the ceremony included Commune Head Kazimierz Gawron and councilors. Leszek Zagórski, deputy head of the Bolesławiec police, handed the keys to the vehicle to Grzegorz Janiec, commander of the Kruszyn police station.
The marked Kia C'eed will serve officers from Kruszyn. The vehicle was purchased as part of the police modernization program.
In December last year, four marked Kia C'eeds and one unmarked Fiat Bravo were delivered to the Bolesławiec police headquarters. The police cars were purchased with support from the communes of Nowogrodziec, Osiecznica, Gromadka and Warta Bolesławiecka, while the purchase of the unmarked Fiat Bravo was co-financed by the Bolesławiec County Office. The remaining funds came from the police budget.
