Police officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police are conducting preventive winter operations aimed at improving road safety.

Frost, snow and rain are everyday realities during the winter months. Difficult road conditions are often a challenge for many drivers.
How can you spend the winter holidays safely?
- adjust your speed to the prevailing conditions
- properly secure the ski equipment being transported to avoid the risk of losing any item during the journey, which could create a hazard for others
- always clear snow from your car so that using it does not endanger the safety of its occupants or other road users. Drivers must ensure an adequate field of vision and easy, comfortable and reliable operation of the steering, braking and signalling controls
- ensure your own safety and that of others during winter activities; sleigh rides may be organised only away from public roads
- always wear seat belts when travelling, and use child seats to transport children.
