The BKS Bobrzanie fourth-division footballers suffered their third consecutive defeat. After losing to Karkonosze Jelenia Góra (1–2) and Prochowiczanka Prochowice (1–3), our team failed to overcome MKS Szczawno Zdrój. The away match was played on Saturday. Despite many chances, the Bolesławiec players did not score a single goal. The hosts scored the winning goal after taking advantage of an error by our defenders. Kubowicz headed the ball thrown in from the sideline into the goal Kubowicz. The match ended with a 1–0 victory for MKS. After their third consecutive defeat, BKS are eighth in the table.
Next Friday (1 May), our team will face bottom-of-the-table Olimpia Kamienna Góra in front of their home crowd. The match will begin at 4:00 p.m.
The BKS second team played on Sunday. Their opponent was Nysa Zgorzelec, who are challenging for promotion to the fourth division. Nysa won the match 3–1. Tomasz Derewiński scored Bolesławiec’s consolation goal from the penalty spot Tomasz Derewiński. In their last four matches, the Bolesławiec team have lost three times and drawn once. The BKS second team are 14th in the table.
Victories for the juniors and younger players, defeat for the under-13 team
The BKS Bobrzanie youth groups are doing much better than the senior teams. In their latest matches, the older juniors defeated Górnik Węgliniec by as much as 9–0. The younger juniors beat their opponents from Węgliniec 4–1. The BKS Bobrzanie under-15 team defeated SP Gol Jelenia Góra 8–0. The under-13 team, meanwhile, lost 0–1 to their counterparts from Jelenia Góra.
