This school year, the management of Liceum Oxpress has abandoned the above system. Paper application forms may be submitted to the main office of Zespół Oxpress at 22 Tyrankiewiczów Street from the beginning of February. A decision on admission—or refusal—will be issued within 7 days of submitting the documents.
– We expect that people who submit applications to Liceum Oxpress have their priorities and goals and know what our school can offer them. Therefore, we will not wait for exam results or the end of the school year: Oxpress is a place for those who are creative, are not afraid of learning and genuinely want to achieve something in life. We give them the tools they need to navigate the changing realities of the job market without difficulty. A graduate of our institution will be able to attend any university or, thanks to an excellent command of a foreign language, study at universities abroad – says PLO Oxpress head, Monika Pluszczewicz.
We know that determining one’s path in life at the age of several years past childhood is a difficult task, which is why we want to give young people the widest possible range of choices for the future. I think that this method of recruitment will make life much easier for everyone applying to Liceum Oxpress. Through the recruitment process, candidates will quickly receive an answer about admission to Liceum Oxpress. If things do not go as they hoped, they will always be able to calmly apply for places at other secondary schools, adds Monika Pluszczewicz.
Being a student at Liceum Oxpress has a number of other, no less important advantages:
– It is impossible to overlook the issue of safety, which has always been and remains a priority for us. All Oxpress institutions have coded entrances and are also equipped with camera systems both outside and inside the buildings. This measure is intended to protect all our students from strangers, because at school—both in student-to-student and student-to-teacher relations—the atmosphere is very friendly, almost familial, and it is genuinely safe, stresses Oxpress founder, Dariusz Tyrakowski.
It is worth emphasizing that Publiczne Liceum Oxpress is free of charge, while nevertheless offering at least 5 hours of English per week, including classes with a Native Speaker. No other school has such an offer. Emphasis is also placed on Polish, mathematics, IT and chemistry. The increased number of hours in these subjects, as well as small classes and a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere, will provide ideal conditions for learning. For those who also care about physical development, the school provides access to sports facilities in the form of two new, fully equipped gymnasiums located at 48 Aleja 1000-lecia.
