The matter was discussed during the January budget session by Mayor Piotr Roman. The head of the City of Ceramics noted that he would soon organise, together with the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, a meeting concerning the construction of the final section of the Bolesławiec bypass. This section is to connect the Solidarity Roundabout in Kruszyn with the roundabout in Łąka.
The official added that two options for connecting these two roundabouts are currently being analysed.
And he emphasised: “We have to keep lobbying for it all the time, because for us this bypass is, one might say, something of a road of life. The main traffic problems arising in the city concern connecting the northern part of the city and travelling under the railway tracks, through the tunnels.”
This project is intended to help ease traffic congestion in Bolesławiec. We will certainly return to the matter.
