At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, a 59-year-old man suspected of sexually molesting a minor was detained and subsequently arrested.
The investigation established that the offences took place between January and June 2018. The victim was a 17-year-old student at a Bolesławiec high school, where Władysław C. worked as a teacher.
Using unlawful threats and violence, the suspect repeatedly forced her to submit to other sexual acts. He also allegedly deprived her of her liberty for short periods. In committing the offence, he exploited the relationship of dependency between him and the victim.
On 10 January 2019, the man was detained and brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, where he was charged and questioned.
The suspect pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor’s office applied to the court for the man to be remanded in custody for three months. The application was granted.
C. faces up to eight years in prison.
