The changes concern land use, the transport network, and the indicators and parameters of the proposed development. The local plan will take into account the broadly understood needs of residents. The area designated for the preparation of the local spatial development plan is located in the city centre and covers a total of approximately 10.82 hectares.

It is worth recalling that, in 2019, the continuation of the “TEN-T passenger transport links in border regions/TRANS-BORDERS – construction of the Transport Hub in Bolesławiec” project was planned. The project involves cooperation between partner institutions from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia to improve connections between peripheral cross-border regions and the Trans-European Transport Network. It includes preparing complete documentation for the construction of the Transport Hub in Bolesławiec. On 3 August 2017, an agreement was signed to co-finance the implementation of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE CE973 TRANS-BORDERS project. The project was scheduled for implementation from 2017 to 2020.

The concept for implementing the “Construction of the Subregional Transport Hub in Bolesławiec” project was developed by the “Rewizja” design office in Wrocław. On 10 January 2019, an agreement was signed concerning the “Preparation of design documentation for the Subregional Transport Hub in Bolesławiec.” The agreement covers the preparation of design documentation, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works, and investor’s cost estimates, as well as obtaining all administrative decisions authorising the commencement of construction works and providing author’s supervision during the investment’s implementation phase. The value of the agreement is PLN 583,020. The design documentation is being prepared by FORMARCHITEKCI, based in Rzeszów. The project was scheduled for completion in January 2020.
