A large group of preschoolers and pupils from Iwiny visited the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. The children came to see what the place where the uniformed officers work looks like.

Police officers:

The meeting began in the duty room. The guests saw what the command post and the briefing room for duty service look like.

The children then learned what a neighbourhood officer’s work involves and how the city is divided into districts.

Uniformed officers: – Of course, meeting with children is a good opportunity to talk about safety in everyday life. The rules for pedestrians travelling on the road were reviewed, as was the importance of being visible by using reflective elements.

The children demonstrated extensive knowledge and were eager to have a commemorative fingerprint taken and see the police car up close.

(The Iwiny School and Preschool Complex joined the “Safe Lower Silesian” programme, which includes, among other things, educational meetings with police officers).
