The competition organized in institutions in Bolesławiec is primarily intended to increase knowledge about environmental protection. The competition will involve collecting recyclable materials and taking them to collection points.
The organizers emphasize that the joint waste-collection campaign will bring together those who participate in it. They may be pupils from primary schools, middle schools and secondary schools, representing individual classes, groups of classes or student councils.
The prizes provided for in the competition are PLN 1,000 for first place, PLN 800 for second place and PLN 600 for third place. The organizers also anticipate the possibility of awarding a special prize of PLN 2,000 to the institution that demonstrates the greatest activity during the “Clean Up the World 2004” campaign.
