Until November 30 (Friday) the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Therapy Center is in Bolesławiec with a mobile blood collection team. It is stationed at pl. Marszałka Piłsudskiego 1C (next to the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center), from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Blood is essential for children and adults battling cancer, patients awaiting surgery, and accident victims.
Who can become a blood donor?
- someone aged 18–65 with a valid photo ID
- appropriate body weight: over 50 kg
- has not had jaundice, syphilis, psoriasis, or diabetes
- has not undergone surgery, endoscopic procedures, a tattoo, ear piercing, or piercing of other body parts within the last 6 months
- does not have serious diseases of the circulatory, digestive, nervous, respiratory, or urinary systems.
