A volunteer and the initiator of the activities and games designed to engage the boys and girls from the Children’s Home tells us about the project.
– At our first meeting with the boys and girls from the Children’s Home, we introduced ourselves as a group of volunteers called ROZBArWIENI, together with the children – volunteer Aleksandra Kołodziej explains. – We held team-building games and activities under the supervision of Ms Agnieszka Godula. The young people were deeply involved in the whole project. There was a great deal of laughter, and our good mood never left us. The children were extremely sorry when we had to end our meeting. We already have plans for another meeting before the holidays. We will play, write letters to Santa Claus and prepare Christmas decorations – Aleksandra says about the plans.
PTPP president Dawid Karol Kołodziej praises and promotes the project.
– I am very happy that our ROZBArWIENI team is so strongly involved in the affairs of the local community – says the president. – The project at the Children’s Home in Bolesławiec shows that volunteers can act with empathy, understanding and altruism. I am proud of them – adds Dawid Kołodziej.
