In the historic Evangelical church currently undergoing renovation in the Bolesławiec municipality, known as the Pearl of Żeliszów, a Game of BIKE competition was held with the participation of world-class BMX riders, including Dawid Godziek and Kamil Długosz.
Preparations lasted several months. The organizers built special platforms inside the historic church. What is more, thanks to the online broadcast, fans of the sport could watch it live. Moreover, it was the viewers who challenged the riders with tricks that they had to perform.

More about the Pearl of Żeliszów

The Pearl of Żeliszów is located in Żeliszów (German: Giersdorf), in Bolesławiec County. The church was built according to a design attributed to architect Carl Gotthard Langhans, the creator of, among other things, the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Some art historians, however, attribute it to the builder Grundmann. The building was erected in 1796–1797 on an elliptical plan measuring approximately 20 by 30 metres. In 1872, a bell tower made of Bolesławiec sandstone was added according to a design by local architect Peter Gansel.
