The first support group meeting will take place on November 17, 2018 (Saturday), from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dates of meetings in subsequent months will be posted on the https://pcpr.boleslawiec.pl/
website.Domestic violence is an issue that is increasingly present in public awareness. For victims who take their first steps to defend themselves against the perpetrator, group work can provide significant support, helping them overcome feelings of isolation and giving them an opportunity to receive support from the group. The format of the sessions also makes it easier to try out new forms of behaviour and practise desired habits. This idea inspired the creation of a local support group for people affected by domestic violence.
Applications to participate in the support group sessions are accepted at the PCPR office in Bolesławiec, Pl. Marsz. J. Piłsudskiego 2, rooms 2 and 5, tel. 75 612 17 83–84, or directly by contacting the Director of PCPR in Bolesławiec, room 6, tel. 75 612 17 88.
