A Reader wrote to the editorial office via MMS:
There has been a mysterious hole in the pavement on Bobrowa Street for a week, or perhaps even longer. A week ago, someone—probably one of the residents—reported a potential hazard.
[...] firefighters secured the discovery. The municipal police were there, as well as some other vehicles. The hole was secured with barriers.
And added:
A week passed, and today an excavator appeared. But nothing was done. The barriers were put back in place, and the excavator drove away. The mysterious hole remained…
As istotne.pl was informed by Andrzej Kuriata, head of the Public Procurement and Municipal Investments Department at Bolesławiec City Hall, undocumented basements or foundations were discovered on Bobrowa Street. The official reported the matter to the Municipal Communal Services Company, which has already dealt with the subsidence. It is to be removed no later than Monday, October 29.
