The Warta Bolesławiecka municipality was different from the Bolesławiec municipality. Warta's incumbent mayor, Mirosław Haniszewski (running with the support of Bezpartyjni Samorządowcy), confidently defeated his challenger, Aleksander Wis. The former received 2,421 votes (68.54 percent), while the latter won the trust of 1,111 voters.
