Sebastian Rewaj, organizer of the collection in Bolesławiec:

The collection of donations for 12 families who lost their homes ended successfully. The donations were handed over to the Wleń Volunteer Fire Department; the local firefighters will distribute them according to the needs of the families from Piechowice.

And he adds:

Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for joining this wonderful initiative. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Ms. Agnieszka Kamińska and her husband for providing the van in which these donations were transported […].

And for her enormous commitment to this effort, I thank Ms. Nina Jakubowska, who helped me collect the donations and organize everything, made her storage space available, and opened a second collection point there in Zebrzydowa.

Once again, HUGE, HUGE THANKS!

I would also like to thank the istotne.pl portal and Telewizja Bolesławiec for publicizing the collection. Greetings to all of Bolesławiec—I am proud that together we have done so much good for others.

Let us recall. As reported by the lwowecki.info portal, as a result of the fire that broke out on October 8 in one of the buildings on Żymierskiego Street in Piechowice, 12 families lost their homes.

A local volunteer firefighter also lived in the building, and thanks to his swift intervention, the residents were safely evacuated.

Unfortunately, some residents’ belongings were completely destroyed by the fire.
