The incident occurred on Saturday (6 October) on aleja Tysiąclecia (at the intersection with ul. Gałczyńskiego). Three passenger vehicles collided there: two Audis and a Volkswagen. The cars were carrying three adults and a child.
According to police findings, the 20-year-old Audi driver failed to keep a safe distance and hit the rear of another Audi, driven by a 69-year-old man. The struck car then hit the rear of a Volkswagen carrying a 35-year-old woman and her one-year-old son. The child was taken to hospital for observation.
