On Saturday, September 29, the 4th Western Polish Championships in bench press and command push-ups were held in Przedmoście. A resident of Lwówek Śląski, who works every day as a soldier at a military unit in Bolesławiec, took part in the competition – Zbigniew Boczar. He managed to begin the season by taking 3rd place in bench press.
The road to the medal was not easy; a cold and fever were not helpful, but he managed to enjoy time with his family and friends and stand on the podium with his children. The joy of children receiving medals and certificates is worth every sacrifice.
In the command push-ups, he managed to complete only 61 push-ups and finish just outside the podium. Soon there will be more competitions at the Świdnicki Dzik Cup and the Polish Championships of Uniformed Services in raw bench press. More photos, videos and reports, as well as inspiration, can be found on Zbigniew Boczar's Instagram or Facebook.
