The incident occurred on Sunday, September 30, in the morning, in Godzieszów (Nowogrodziec gmina), near the roundabout.
The driver of a DAF truck, a 43-year-old Belarusian citizen, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and ended up in a ditch. The man was traveling alone. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
It turned out that the Belarusian was completely drunk; he had nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
He could now face a sentence of up to two years in prison.
