As we read in the information published on September 19 on the profile Pixers Ring:
Today is a sad day, with sad news from the track operator, Onion Ring sp. z o.o.
"Having our own training track is a dream for many #petrolheads… we achieved it thanks to the maximum commitment of many people and the loans taken out by the two founders.
Sometimes, however, you have to know when to leave the stage.
Unfortunately, that is the case for us this time.
We wanted to thank you—all the customers and supporters of our initiative—thanks to whom every working day on this project began and ended with a big smile on the faces of the entire team.
We apologize for disappointing our partners, customers and creditors; however, forced by financial realities, we are lowering the “checkered flag” for the last time and ending our operations on September 30, 2018...(...)".
The racing track opened on the site of the former Krzywa airfield in Osła (Gromadka commune) more than a year ago. The announcement on the Facebook profile contains no information for people who paid in advance to use the track, for example by purchasing season passes. We tried to contact someone from the company by calling the telephone number provided on Facebook. Unfortunately, nobody answered.
What do you think is the reason Pixers Ring is ending its operations? Were there not enough people interested in using the track? Was it advertised too little? Or perhaps the prices were too high?
We invite you to join the discussion.
