The incident took place on 13 September. While on duty in Dziwiszów at around noon, police officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic unit noticed a VW vehicle speeding towards Jelenia Góra.
The speed meter showed that, in an area where the speed limit is 40 km/h, the driver was travelling at 120 km/h.
The officers stopped the driver for a roadside inspection. He turned out to be a 34-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County who… did not have a driving licence.
The case will be decided in court.
