At the non-public healthcare facility, specialists examined children who had registered in advance in four offices. This year, around fifty youngsters benefited from consultations and examinations. The examinations included
- posture assessment
- assessment of pelvic statics (static pelvic balance determines the proper functioning of the joints of the spine and limbs)
- assessment of muscle balance
- foot examination
After the examination, each child received—through their parent—information about the physiotherapy examination results and recommendations regarding any further action. This was intended to ensure that the information would be useful in subsequent treatment, regardless of where the parent sought help. Immediately after the examination, most children went to the gym, where therapists provided instruction in exercises individually selected after the assessment. All those examined ended their visit in the store, where gifts were waiting for the children, while parents received a discount voucher for rehabilitation footwear.
For everyone visiting NZOZ Provita that day, the staff prepared many attractions: inflatables, bubble blowing, outdoor games (elastic band and skipping rope), as well as chalk drawing, face painting and sweet treats.

Pelvic statics: what is it and why is it so important for healthy posture?
One of the main causes of musculoskeletal complaints, including spinal problems, is static imbalance of the pelvis. Such disorders may lead to degenerative changes, whose symptom is pain experienced while performing everyday activities. This problem may affect people who have walked on crutches, even for a short time, as well as people who play sports.
Static pelvic balance determines the proper functioning of the joints of the spine and limbs.
