The fire occurred on Sunday, September 16, in the village of Trzebień Mały (Bolesławiec Municipality).
The report indicated that a forest was on fire. At the scene, however, it turned out that wasteland—grass and bushes, as well as individual trees—was burning.
The fire covered an area of approximately 1.5 hectares. Seven fire service units (both PSP and OSP) and two aircraft took part in the firefighting operation.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The operation lasted approximately 2.5 hours. (The photos come from the Facebook profile of volunteer firefighters from Osiecznica).
