For the second time, residents of Bolesławiec can view artworks in the county office building. According to Ewa Lijewska, director of the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury, the building’s distinctive architecture makes it an excellent exhibition hall.
The exhibition presents works created by participants in the 2nd Lower Silesian Art Competition “Stanisław Wyspiański – a Man of Art Nouveau.” The jury, comprising Elżbieta Niezgodzińska, Czesław Matyjewicz and Zbigniew Zieliński, awarded distinctions and prizes.
In the 5-to-8 age category, the first prize went to Dawid Chętkowiak from Municipal Kindergarten No. 3 in Oława. Fabian Sudański from Primary School No. 3 in Kudowa-Zdrój took first place in the 9-to-12 age category. In the 13-to-15 age category, first place was awarded to Magdalena Lenczuk from the Community Center in Sabina. Mirosław Dobrowolski from III General Secondary School in Świdnica received the first prize in the 16-to-21 age category.
