Employees of one of the companies located there informed us about the damaged road leading to the industrial zone in Wykroty. Photos of the road and a copy of a letter dated 19 March were sent to the editorial office. In the letter, the Works Council of BDN Sp. z o.o. Sp. K. asks the Mayor of the City and Municipality of Nowogrodziec, Robert Relich, to “adapt municipal road no. 103839 to conditions enabling safe travel to and return from their workplaces.”
The condition of the road can be seen in the photos. The photographs were given to the Mayor of Nowogrodziec. During a telephone conversation, Robert Relich did not provide us with information about when, or whether at all, the Municipality of Nowogrodziec intends to resolve the problem. Instead, he suggested that we submit a written inquiry on the matter.
From unofficial sources, we learned that the potholes and holes on the road leading to the zone were supposed to be repaired by the end of last week. Unfortunately, another week is coming to an end, and the potholed road is still “frightening.” It is worth noting that visitors and contractors from Poland and abroad use the same road to reach the companies in the zone. They arrive... by slaloming.
