The incident occurred on Friday, September 7, before 6:00 p.m., between Kraśnik and Chościszowice (Bolesławiec municipality). For reasons not yet established, the 31-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of our county, lost control, skidded, left the road and rolled over.
The 27-year-old passenger from Zgorzelec County was seriously injured and transported by a Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter to a hospital in Legnica.
The driver was sober. He was taken to the healthcare facility in Bolesławiec.
The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
