In the match played on Sunday in Lubin as part of the 5th round of the Lower Silesian IV league, BKS lost 1:4 (0:1) to Sparta Rudna. BKS's consolation goal was scored by Adrian Kulesza. Sparta Rudna's goals were scored by: Łukasz Stachów, Kajetan Frankowski, Łukasz Ostrowski and Daniel Sygnatowicz.

BKS played poorly on Sunday, while the opponents dominated throughout the match and deservedly claimed three points. Both goalkeepers were the best players on the Bolesławiec team, which clearly indicates what kind of match it was.

The match did not go our way from the start, and we conceded the opening goal in the 4th minute after a Sparta Rudna player found the net. The early goal did not inspire our boys, who continued to look inept and struggled to get out of their own half. Sparta Rudna, meanwhile, played their game and threatened our goal several times. Had it not been for Jakub Walczak's good performance, the outcome could have been settled in the first half. Our goalkeeper had to leave the field at half-time with an injury, and his replacement, Kacper Różnicki, also saved several excellent shots.

In the opening minutes of the second half, BKS Bolesławiec looked slightly better than their opponents and could have equalised. First, Adrian Kulesza's fine shot went just wide of Sparta Rudna's post, and in the 59th minute Damian Puzio failed to convert a one-on-one opportunity. Unfortunately, a minute later the hosts scored a second goal, making our team's situation very difficult. In the 63rd minute, following a move involving Filip Zagórski and Adrian Kulesza, the latter reduced the deficit with a shot from outside the penalty area. Unfortunately, from that moment on, only Sparta Rudna ruled the pitch. The result was two more Sparta goals, and we ultimately lost the match 1:4.

Sunday's match was our worst performance of the season; hopefully, things will only get better from now on. Our team will play its next match at Spółdzielcza against Odra Ścinawa (15 September, 17:00).
