The fountain in Bolesławiec’s Market Square has stopped working. The reason? A typical hydraulic and electrical failure. (A connector became leaky and the power supply was switched off, which meant that the pump did not operate as it should.) The causes of the failure are not yet known.
As istotne.pl Józef Król, head of the Water and Sewage Company in Bolesławiec, assured the portal, the equipment did not suffer any serious damage; nevertheless, the fountain will probably be out of service for several days.
It is worth adding that employees of the municipal company intend to install monitoring at the fountain. If the situation repeats in the future, PWiK will therefore be able to repair the failure even more quickly.
