A Reader asked us to publicize the issue. In an email to the editorial office, he wrote: “I drive along this road every day. From the end of Dobra to the Osiecznica municipality, it is literally in tragic condition. At one point, you have to slow down to approximately 20 km/h, which does not guarantee that the car will not be damaged.” He adds that he himself damaged a wheel twice at this location.
“Signs warning of potholes are of little use. Even drivers traveling at the legal speed limit have to navigate this section in a slalom,” the man says indignantly.
The road is administered by the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei. “We know what condition this section is in,” Joanna Jarocka, spokesperson for DSDiK, told the IstotneInformacje.pl website. The problem is that renovating this road is a reserve task for the authority. “For now, we are carrying out ongoing patch repairs,” Jarocka emphasizes.
As the spokesperson points out, however, there is a chance that renovation work will begin this year. In her view, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways plans to renovate the section from Osiecznica to the motorway. “If GDDKiA decides to renovate this route, we will contribute funds and renovate the entire stretch together,” Jarocka adds.

Joanna Wąsiel, spokesperson for the Wrocław branch of GDDKiA, denied that the office was planning to renovate any section of this route.
