The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 8, on the road between Osiecznica and Przejęsław (Osiecznica municipality). The driver of a Volkswagen Passat, a 58-year-old resident of our county, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, left the road and rolled over.
The man was traveling alone. He was not seriously injured.
What is more, the 58-year-old was completely drunk; he had approximately 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. His driving licence and vehicle registration certificate were confiscated. He could now face up to three years in prison.
