On Tuesday (7 August), at the “Krępnica” water reservoir, firefighters from the Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service and volunteer firefighters met with children and informed them about the dangers that may await them by the water. The firefighters also conducted demonstration exercises. The exercises included, among other things, rescuing a drowning person using a rescue boat.
As a warning, it is worth adding that 14 people drowned in Poland on Saturday, and the holidays are not over yet...
