On Monday, July 30, police officers detained a 63-year-old man, a resident of Bolesławiec County, who allegedly had illegal tobacco on him after leaving the store. It turned out that a 46-year-old woman from our county was engaged in selling tobacco without Polish excise-duty markings.
The officers prevented approximately one kilogram of illegal cut tobacco, worth nearly PLN 1,000, from entering circulation.
Both suspects could now face up to three years in prison.
