As Bohdan Ząbek from PKP PLK’s press office informed us, both platforms in Bolesławiec are to be rebuilt. The bids were opened last month. The problem is that only one company submitted a bid. What is more, the cost of carrying out the reconstruction exceeds the amount PKP PLK had planned to pay.
There is a chance, however, that the railway company’s management will agree to increase the funds for the project. The matter is expected to be clarified in August. We will return to the subject.
