The incident occurred on Monday, July 23, after 12:00 p.m., on the road between Osieczów (Osiecznica commune) and Dobra (Bolesławiec commune). The driver of the Ford, a 26-year-old man from Bolesławiec County, lost control of the vehicle, veered onto the shoulder and overturned.
The Ford’s 23-year-old passenger and her child were injured in the accident; both injured people were taken to hospitals. The woman was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The child is in hospital in Legnica. Fortunately, neither suffered serious injuries.
The driver explained that the incident was caused by a wheel failure.
