The sixth edition of the Indoor Football League for Children and Young People has ended. Eleven teams took part in the competition. A total of 34 matches were played, with 270 goals scored.
FC Stiribiri, Twoja Stara and TOP Bolesławiec met in the final. FC Stiribiri took first place. Twoja Stara finished second, while TOP Bolesławiec came third.
The winning team consisted of Rafał Cieśla, Krzysztof Kurlej, Łukasz Szewczyk, Łukasz Paluch, Dariusz Kowal and Krzysztof Sadowski. Krzysztof Kurlej was the top scorer of the final tournament, scoring eight goals.
“Last year we finished second; this year we won,” says Krzysztof Kurlej. “We scored at least five goals in every match. We were the only team to win all our points,” adds Rafał Cieśla, captain of FC Stiribiri.
The competition was organised by Mirosław Sakowski and the School Sports Club operating at II LO.
