Emq Bro – this is the name under which Emanuel Broszko from Bolesławiec creates music. “My cousin Mariusz „Mayu B.” Broszko had a major influence on me. He had already been writing music for quite some time. His interests were closest to mine (that is, metal combined with electronics),” Emanuel told us at the beginning of July last year.
That same month, Emanuel’s mentor died in a tragic accident. Emq Bro decided to commemorate his cousin. As we read on the YouTube profile of the Bolesławiec musician:
Today, July 20, marks exactly one year since the tragic accident in which Mariusz „Mayu B.” Broszko – one of the people closest to me, and not only to me – passed away.
Mariusz was working on several songs that, unfortunately, he would never be able to finish. The song “Phoenix”, whose video I invite you to watch, is one of the works I completed.
Dedicated to Mayu, our family, friends and acquaintances, as well as Linkin Park fans (Chester Bennington passed away on the same day).
