Several dozen students from upper-secondary schools took part. “I would like to thank you very much for participating in today’s competition,” starosta Cezary Przybylski told those gathered. “I think it is extremely important to begin learning about the world with one’s own locality, municipality and county.”
Participants had to demonstrate knowledge of heraldry and topography. The competition consisted of two parts: a test and a quiz. Here are the names of the winners:
- Piotr Tarnachowicz from the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych
- Maciej Rajfur from the II Liceum Ogólnokształcące
- Rafał Berlicki from ZSM
In the school classification, the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych took first place. The II Liceum Ogólnokształcące came second. The Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych placed third.
