Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec received information that a 35-year-old man from Bolesławiec County had not returned to the prison where he is serving a sentence of imprisonment.
The wanted man thought that by hiding in the attic, he could outsmart the police. He left his hiding place only at night.
His plan failed. The 35-year-old was arrested in the Nowogrodziec municipality and returned to prison.
He will now face additional consequences for failing to return to the prison.
